Candace Cameron Bure\u2019s life can seem perfect with her beautiful children, handsome husband, and glamorous career. But, as the Full House <\/em>star revealed on a recent episode<\/a> of her podcast, that wasn\u2019t always the case. In 2020, Cameron Bure and her husband, Valeri Bure, had hit a \u201crough season.\u201d \u201cVal and I went through a really, really rough season in our marriage in 2020, and that\u2019s when the pandemic hit,\u201d said Cameron Bure. The negativity soon grew serious. \u201cIt was going south quickly and we were like, \u2018I don\u2019t know, don\u2019t think \u2026 we\u2019re gonna make it through,\u2019\u201d Cameron Bure admitted.<\/p>\n

The couple\u2019s struggle soon became obvious to their three children, who then decided to intervene. \u201cAt one point, Lev, Maks, and Natasha, but Lev was the one leading the charge. He came up to us and said, \u2018We\u2019d like to talk to you guys.\u2019 Val and I sat down and Lev preached, like, a 45-minute sermon on marriage to us. Just had his Bible open on the couch and just talked about it,\u201d she shared. Lev Bure married his wife, Elliott<\/a>, last year, but at the time of the intervention with his parents, he acknowledged his lack of experience. \u201cAnd I\u2019ll never forget, \u2018cause he said, \u2018You know, I know I haven\u2019t been married. I\u2019m just a young kid. And so, it\u2019s probably hard to take marriage advice from someone this young [who] never experienced it before. But I don\u2019t need to be married to know what the word of God says,’\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Cameron Bure called it \u201ca pivotal moment\u201d in the couple\u2019s relationship. \u201cHe looked us straight in the eye and individually asked me and then asked Val, \u2018Have you done everything you can? Is there one step of grace, is there just some bit of more grace you can give? Is there one more act of kindness in you that you could give to try to reconcile?’\u201d She said the moment helped her and her husband to appreciate their children. \u201cThere was a lot more to it, but it\u2019s a whole different scenario when your kids sit you down to have a talk and go, \u2018Are you being as mature as you can be?\u2019 I\u2019m so grateful to Lev and Maks and Natasha. They were so supportive of everything,\u201d she said. Cameron Bure and her husband just completed 29 years of marriage last June.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
