Hollywood couple Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen are proving that lasting love is possible\u2014even in show business.<\/p>\n

The two actors, who have been married since 1995, are starring together again in the second season of “Man on the Inside.” And according to Danson, working alongside his wife has only deepened his affection for her.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re nauseatingly in love,\u201d Danson said with a laugh during a recent episode of SiriusXM\u2019s Where Everybody Knows Your Name podcast, which he co-hosts with Woody Harrelson. He went on to describe how meaningful it is to act alongside Mary. \u201cTo sit there on camera and look into your wife\u2019s eyes… it\u2019s pretty astounding.\u201d<\/p>\n

Danson says the experience of acting together has made them feel like they\u2019re falling in love all over again. \u201cOh, it\u2019s just magical,\u201d he shared. \u201cI\u2019m just head-over-heels in love with her.\u201d<\/p>\n

Their love story began over 40 years ago when they first met on the set of a movie. They eventually tied the knot in 1995, blending their families\u2014each brought two children from previous marriages\u2014and have been inseparable ever since.<\/p>\n

When asked about the challenges of working together as a couple, Danson gave a heartfelt and humble response. \u201cI realized part of my job is to host my wife,\u201d he said. \u201cIf she doesn\u2019t have a wonderful time, that\u2019s on me. That\u2019s just my attitude.\u201d<\/p>\n

For Steenburgen, her early impression of Danson was far from what he turned out to be. She once thought he might be a \u201cslick\u201d ladies\u2019 man, thanks to his charming character on Cheers. But she quickly learned how wrong she was.<\/p>\n

\u201cSlick guys don\u2019t say \u2018gosh-a-rooni\u2019 after making love,\u201d she joked in an interview with People<\/em> earlier this year. \u201cI\u2019d like to apologize to my granddaughters.\u201d<\/p>\n

She also praised Danson\u2019s kind heart and the joy he brings to the people he works with. \u201cHe\u2019s just so loving and takes such joy in acting,\u201d she said. \u201cI also fell in love with the sort of father he is… Ted loves his daughters with all his heart and had space to love my Lilly and Charlie just as well. It\u2019s pretty thrilling to go through life with Ted Danson.\u201d<\/p>\n

Their secret to staying close? Mornings. The couple wakes up together at 4:30 a.m. to enjoy coffee, chat, laugh, and even play Wordle and other games\u2014whether they\u2019re in the same house or miles apart.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe most fun is the early mornings,\u201d Danson said. \u201cTo both of us, it\u2019s like heaven on Earth.\u201d<\/p>\n
