Henry Winkler may be best known as the cool and confident Arthur \u201cFonzie\u201d Fonzarelli from Happy Days<\/em>, but to his daughter Zoe, he\u2019s simply Dad\u2014and sometimes, a podcast wingman.<\/p>\n

The father-daughter duo recently made a joint appearance at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, blending a night of family fun with promotion for Zoe\u2019s new podcast, What In The Winkler?<\/em> In an interview on the red carpet, Zoe opened up about the show\u2019s premise and her unique upbringing.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s really just about family,\u201d she explained. \u201cPeople assume that growing up in Hollywood is one way, but it\u2019s really just a normal family. We go through all the same insanity as everybody else\u2014and it\u2019s been the most fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked what it was like being raised by a beloved TV icon, Henry joked, \u201cShe used me like a garden tool. She would not listen to me unless there was a nice young fellow in the vicinity.\u201d Zoe laughed and added, \u201cI\u2019m doing it now. He came with me on a Monday to Dolby Theater to help me promote my podcast. So, I\u2019m grateful.\u201d<\/p>\n

Zoe co-hosts the podcast with her mom, Stacey Winkler, who has been married to Henry since 1978. The couple first met in 1976 at a Beverly Hills clothing store\u2014right in the middle of Henry\u2019s rise to fame. Their wedding took place at a synagogue in New York, and together they raised three children: Zoe, Max, and Jed (Stacey\u2019s son from a previous marriage).<\/p>\n

Zoe also shared a few life lessons she\u2019s learned from her father, including one of Henry\u2019s most memorable sayings: \u201cThe people you meet on the way up are the people you meet on the way down.\u201d<\/p>\n

She admitted it was tough to pick just one, adding, \u201cThere are so many valuable things I\u2019ve learned from him.\u201d Another piece of wisdom that\u2019s stuck with her: \u201cThe energy you put out is the energy you get back.\u201d<\/p>\n

With their playful banter and shared passion for storytelling, Henry and Zoe continue to prove that behind the fame is a close-knit, down-to-earth family that values laughter, love, and a good life lesson.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
