Add three children into the mix, and your spouse can start to feel like your roommate. You would think this would be the case for NBA superstar Stephen Curry and his wife, Ayesha. However, they recently shared some tips on keeping things spicy after ten years of marriage. The couple got married in 2011 and have three children, Riley, Ryan, and Canon.

Ayesha shared in an Access Hollywood interview that one key to keeping your marriage spicy is to not forget to date each other and make the time to get dressed, go out, and “do all the things.” When asked about attending the Met Gala in September, where Stephen Curry was caught in photos admiring his wife on the red carpet, the Golden State Warriors star said he was “just seeing how beautiful she looked.” Stephen added, “If you keep it spicy like that, I think that’s how we got 10 years and hopefully 10 years more,” he said.

Another possible key to keeping a 10-year marriage spicy is to gush over your spouse openly, which isn’t a problem for the Curry’s. The couple publicly admires each other on social media quite frequently. In January, Ayesha shared a photo of her husband on Instagram from his cover shoot with GQ, gushing over him in her caption, saying, “Good gracious God almighty @stephencurry30…” she wrote in the caption.

In another Instagram post celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary in August, Stephen swooned Ayesha in an Instagram post, saying, “Never a day goes by I’m not thankful for your presence, your beauty, your spirit! Sexy as can be inside and out & continuing to show me how amazing our God is by the creation that you are. Blessed me with the 3 of the dopest humans around.”

Stephen also added that he was excited about their next chapters and was still in love with his best friend. Of course, when you have an outwardly happy marriage, you’re bound to have haters. Even though the couple receives many compliments from supporters online, they also get negative comments about their relationship.

Last month, Ayesha reportedly shot down rumors that she and the NBA star are in an open relationship, saying, “Don’t disrespect my marriage like that. Please and thank you” to online trolls. Nevertheless, the Curry’s don’t allow the haters to get the best of them. The couple is currently promoting their new HBO Max celebrity couple game show, “About Last Night,” which will hit the streaming service on Feb. 10th.

After 10 years of marriage, the Curry’s have found ways to keep their marriage spicy and show no signs of slowing up. Most people think that marriage is a walk in the park, but it takes dedication and love to last this long. People also believe that you have to stop dating your spouse once you get married, but that isn’t the case for the Curry’s. According to Ayesha, you have to make time to date your spouse and do all the things you did when you started dating. With these tips, the Curry’s marriage is sure to last 10 more years.

It can be easy to let things fall by the wayside when you’ve been married for 10 years.
