Late last week, Justin Bieber took to Instagram to share a powerful testimony about the power of both God’s love and love in his marriage.<\/p>\n
The superstar singer has been known to have some dark moments on his road from childhood star to husband. He opened his post with an honest admission that he suffered from depression. \u201cHave u noticed the statistics of child stars and the outcome of their life,\u201d he wrote. \u201cThere is an insane pressure and responsibility put on a child who\u2019s brain, emotions, frontal lobes (decision making) aren\u2019t developed yet.”<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s hard to get out of bed in the morning\u2026when it feels like there\u2019s trouble after trouble after trouble,\u201d he continued. \u201cYou start foreseeing the day through lenses of \u2018dread\u2019 and anticipate another bad day. A cycle of feeling disappointment after disappointment. Sometimes it can even get to the point where you don\u2019t even want to live anymore. Where you feel like it\u2019s never going to change.\u201d<\/p>\n
The pitfalls of fame quickly began to catch up to him. At only 18 years old with no “real skills”, yet “access to whatever you wanted”, he made choices he regrets. He struggled knowing he went from “one of the most loved and adored people in the world to the most ridiculed, judged and hated person in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n
He admits that he took \u201cpretty heavy drugs\u201d and \u201cabused\u201d his relationships. \u201cI became resentful, disrespectful to women and angry.\u201d<\/p>\n
All of this started to change with once he got back in touch with his religion and married his wife, Hailey Baldwin.<\/p>\n
\u201cNow I am navigating the best season of my life \u2018MARRIAGE\u2019 !! Which is an amazing, crazy, new responsibility,\u201d he wrote. \u201cYou learn patience, trust, commitment, kindness, humility, and all of the things it looks like to be a good man.\u201d<\/p>\n
He concluded this latest post by saying, \u201cAll this to say even when the odds are against you, keep fighting. Jesus loves you. Be kind today, be bold today and love people today, not by your standards but by God\u2019s perfect unfailing love.\u201d<\/p>\n
God sends people into our lives when we need them the most. Having found a strong connection and love with Hailey helped the “Sorry” singer to find purpose in life agian. “Luckily God blessed me with extraordinary people who love me for me,” Beiber said.<\/p>\n
