Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Cooper Kupp and his wife, Anna Marie, recently discussed NFL life and parenting in their new podcast, \u201cDaily Grind.\u201d Kupp and his wife said in the first episode, \u201cThis is an opportunity for us to sit down and really have some meaningful conversations.\u201d They also opened up about the challenges their family went through during the Rams\u2019 2018 Super Bowl run.<\/p>\n

Cooper said, \u201cWe had a really good team. I go through a series of [injuries]. Season\u2019s over. That can be a very discouraging place to be. You’re in a place where your team\u2019s moving forward, but you\u2019re not able to participate. The understanding that this is part of a journey [and] this doesn\u2019t stop here. I am discouraged because I\u2019m hurt, but I am encouraged because I get to go after this thing [and] I get to rebuild myself.\u201d Not only was Cooper hurt, but Anna Marie was tending to their newborn baby while also trying to take care of her injured husband.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou were in pain. There were so many external emotions that you\u2019re working through,\u201d Anna Marie\u00a0began<\/a>. \u201cAnd then just to watch football on Sunday as if nothing had happened and our world is completely turned upside down.\u201d Cooper gave God the glory after signing a contract extension with the Rams in 2022. He said on Twitter in an announcement about his return to LA, \u201cGod is good. On the mountains and in the valleys, He has been with us every step of the way. While we have been afforded the privilege to play such an amazing game, it is with humility we know each moment here is intentional, albeit temporary.”<\/p>\n
