Chris Pratt celebrated his fifth wedding anniversary with Katherine Schwarzenegger with a loving Instagram post. He wrote, \u201cHappy Anniversary to my honey! Five years have flown by. Thank you so much for the joy, stability and fun you\u2019ve brought to my life. I thank God for you every day.\u201d Pratt and Schwarzenegger met at church in 2018. After a year of dating, they got engaged in January 2019 before tying the knot in June. The couple now shares two young daughters.<\/p>\n

Pratt told Fox News in April 2023, \u201cI met Katherine, now it\u2019s been five, maybe six years ago, and God has a fast-forward button when it\u2019s right \u2013 boom. You get hit. You fall in love; you get married. Now we have two beautiful daughters to add to my family, and it feels really great.\u201d With their strong Christian faith, the couple uses their platform to share the Gospel and encourage their millions of fans to connect with Christ. Schwarzenegger released a book in 2020 that was rooted in the Gospel and explained the power of forgiveness.<\/p>\n

She told TBN, \u201cWhen you\u2019re able to practice forgiveness, you feel this amazing sense of freedom and weight lifted off your shoulders. There are a lot of people who feel like practicing forgiveness feels like a betrayal of their own hurt; you have to think about it practically speaking, what are you looking out for? [Then] you are able to eventually shift to you being able to look at yourself and give that gift [of forgiveness] to yourself because it\u2019s actually not about another person at all.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s about giving yourself the freedom of knowing that you are no longer tied and shackled to these stories of your past,\u201d she later\u00a0told<\/a>\u00a0Oprah Daily. \u201cAcknowledging that they occurred, but also freeing yourself from the anger and resentment and inability to move in your life.\u201d Arnold Schwarzenegger is thankful for his daughter Katherine\u2019s marriage to actor Chris Pratt. In an interview on \u201cThe New Heights\u201d podcast with Travis and Jason Kelce, \u201cThe Terminator\u201d star shared his thoughts on his son-in-law. \u201cHe\u2019s a fun guy to talk to. I\u2019m really happy that my daughter has found him,\u201d he\u00a0said<\/a>. \u201cAnd that he has found her\u2026they found each other. Because they fit really well together, and they just look wonderful together. They\u2019re so in love with each other.\u201d<\/p>\n
