Hollywood is mourning the loss of actor Adan Canto who was known for his roles in hit shows like “Designated Survivor” and “The Cleaning Lady.” The 42-year-old actor passed away on January 8th after fighting appendiceal cancer. The rare type of cancer grows from the cells that are part of the appendix. He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Ann Canto and their two small children, Roman Alder, 3, and Eve Josephine, 1. \u201cAdan had a depth of spirit that few truly knew,\u201d a representative for Canto said in a\u00a0statement. \u201cThose who glimpsed it were changed forever.\u201d<\/p>\n

Canto’s wife, Stephanie, took to her Instagram to share a touching tribute to her late husband. She shared a sweet photo of the pair with a powerful Bible verse as the caption. “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Mathew 6:19-21” read the caption. She ended the post saying, “Forever my treasure Adan, see you soon ?”<\/p>\n
