Former \u201cAmerican Idol\u201d finalist Gabby Barrett has certain boundaries as a musician, admitting that she won\u2019t do anything that could \u201cjeopardize\u201d her marriage. In a conversation with Hannah Love on her \u201cUnexpected\u201d podcast, Barrett gave an example of how she won\u2019t alter her convictions to make money or appease certain people.<\/p>\n

She shared that she\u2019s turned down some \u201clarge song opportunities\u201d with other men out of respect for her husband. Barrett said of her spouse, Cade Foehner, \u201cI respect him a ton. And I listen to what he has to say, and I think he deserves that. The Bible talks about doing that for\u00a0our husbands. There\u2019s been songs that are just not appropriate to sing, wording-wise, like these love songs that are really intimate.\u201d<\/p>\n
