Kourtney Kardashian recently opened up about her pregnancy in an interview with Vanity Fair, where she revealed that she and Travis Barker were able to conceive their baby naturally after months of failed fertility treatments. \u201cIt arrived when both Travis and I no longer even thought about it, and when I had stopped fertility treatment,\u201d said Kardashian. She revealed her pregnancy in June, calling it “God’s plan” for her and her husband Travis Barker. Kardashian spoke about the negative comments she has received online, doubting the natural pregnancy, but she says they “don’t affect” her.\u00a0 \u201cTo those who make them, I just say: \u2018How could you question God\u2019s plan?’\u201d she said. \u201cBecause that\u2019s how I see this pregnancy.\u201d<\/p>\n

The reality star and Blink-182 drummer began pursuing in vitro fertilization before they tied the knot in 2022. \u201cI was pushed towards [IVF] as if it were the only option,\u201d she explained. \u201cThe truth is, I felt like I was doing something that wasn\u2019t right for me. My intuition was telling me that it wasn\u2019t suitable for me \u2014 I don\u2019t even take medicine, imagine \u2014 that it was working against my body rather than for it,\u201d she continued. \u201cI knew deep down that it wasn\u2019t the right thing.\u201d Kardashian revealed in an episode of “The Kardashians” which aired in May, that she and Barker were “officially done” with IVF. She told the magazine that once they \u201cstopped forcing the process \u2026 it happened.\u201d<\/p>\n

After the pair announced their pregnancy in June, Kardashian revealed that the pair was advised by doctors to refrain from sex, workouts, and plane trips. \u201cI think all this caution made me a little afraid because, in the past, I never had to be so careful,\u201d Kardashian said. \u201cIt took me a while to let go of the fear.\u201d In September, Kardashian had to undergo emergency fetal surgery, causing Barker to leave Blink-182’s world tour, returning weeks later. \u201cRight after the surgery, I reached the point where I let myself go and I stopped worrying,\u201d she said of the \u201cfrightening\u201d experience. \u201cNow I talk to the baby every day, have a positive mindset, keep my head straight, and say a lot of prayers.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
