New Orlean Saints linebacker Demario Davis is keeping his eyes on God despite being sidelined due to a recent injury. Who Dat Dish <\/em>reported, \u201cSince August 5th, the New Orleans Saints have been without arguably the best player on the entire team in linebacker extraordinaire, Demario Davis. The stud defender has been sidelined with a calf injury but has since returned to the practice field, albeit in a limited capacity.<\/p>\n

Regardless of success or injury, Davis puts God first. He shared in a photo shared on the NFL\u2019s Instagram, \u201cI\u2019m a tank-filling guy, so I like to fill up my tanks. I need a full tank spiritually. I need a full tank mentally. I need a full tank physically. When my tank is full, I\u2019m ready to take on that adversity.\u201d Davis\u2019 NFL journey started on the Arkansas State football team. He was a standout linebacker and earned multiple honors during his college career.<\/p>\n

After college, he was selected by the New York Jets in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft, playing with them from 2012 to 2015 and establishing himself as a key contributor on defense. In 2016, Davis signed with the Cleveland Browns as a free agent. However, he was traded back to the Jets during the same offseason. He continued to be a reliable and impactful linebacker for the Jets, known for his field leadership and tackling ability.<\/p>\n
