Anthony Michael Hall is officially a dad! “The Breakfast Club” actor and his wife, Lucia Hall, welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Michael Anthony Hall II, on June 1st. Hall recently sat down with People to share his experiences of his first month of fatherhood. \u201cIt\u2019s great. We\u2019re excited. That first month of parenting is pretty wild. Everything that everybody tells you is pretty true: you lose sleep and it\u2019s the craziest time, but it\u2019s the best time. So we\u2019re really enjoying it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hall gushed over his wife Lucia saying, \u201cShe was really amazing with it. She\u2019s very healthy and has great genes, so it was all smooth and other than being a little sleep deprived now, really great.” He continued by saying, \u201cShe does great research and we read tons of books and are also just learning on the job, getting thrown into it. We just love it, it\u2019s been amazing to really fully be in parent mode.” Hall, 55, also spoke about becoming a father at this point in his life saying, \u201cI couldn\u2019t be happier because I always knew, even when I was a young man, that I wanted to get started later. Here I am at 55, and I\u2019m fully committed. I\u2019m excited. My wife and I are really into parenting and diving in.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lucia took to Instagram to share their precious family photos while captioning the photos saying, \u00a0\u201cMy heart exploded with the most incredible feelings of love, happiness and gratitude. The last month and half was the busiest and most joyful time of our lives. Michael Anthony Hall II you are mommy and daddy\u2019s whole world and we love you unconditionally.\u201d<\/p>\n
