San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey might not have a Super Bowl ring, but he\u2019ll don another kind of ring soon. McCaffrey and his longtime girlfriend, Olivia Culpo, announced on Instagram that the couple got engaged earlier this month.<\/p>\n

The couple collaborated on a post captioned \u201c4.2.23\u201d with two infinity emojis. 30-year-old Culpo and 26-year-old McCaffrey met each other in June 2019. Culpo previously dated Nick Jonas for a few years. McCaffrey ended an exciting sixth NFL season. He was traded from the Carolina Panthers to San Francisco, who got to the NFC Championship.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, the 49ers lost to the Philadelphia Eagles, who ultimately lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII. After only playing in 10 games the last two seasons, McCaffrey played in all 17 games this season, earning him the second-place spot in the Comeback Player of the Year voting. Last season, he made his second Pro Bowl after rushing for 1,139 yards and scoring 13 touchdowns.<\/p>\n

McCaffrey and Culpo posted on Instagram over the last couple of days about a recent \u201croad trip,\u201d and many commented it was about time the NFL star proposed. McCaffrey proposed while the couple was on a getaway in Utah with a ring designed by\u00a0Ring Concierge\u00a0(with the couple\u2019s pup Oliver Sprinkles standing by!). Culpo\u2019s ring is a Whisper Thin three-stone oval with epaulet side stones in two-tone of yellow gold and platinum.<\/p>\n
