Chris Hemsworth has become a household name for Marvel fans. However, the actor recently revealed that he\u2019s reevaluating his priorities after his recent Disney+ series and may take on fewer acting roles. The \u201cThor\u201d star underwent genetic tests for \u201cLimitless,\u201d a Disney+ and National Geographic docuseries he hosted. While filming the show, Hemsworth learned that he carries the APOE4 gene<\/a>, increasing his chances of developing Alzheimer\u2019s.<\/p>\n

In a November interview with Vanity Fair, <\/em><\/a>Hemsworth said, \u201cDoing an episode on death and facing your own mortality made me go, \u2018Oh, God, I\u2019m not ready to go yet. I want to sit and be in this space with a greater sense of stillness and gratitude.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hemsworth continued, \u201cAnd then you start talking about kids and family and going, \u2018Oh, my God, they\u2019re getting older, they\u2019re growing up, and I keep slapping another movie on top of another movie. Before you know it, they\u2019re 18, and they\u2019ve moved out of the house, and I missed the window.\u201d Hemsworth has been hinting at an acting hiatus for a while, but a recently published report suggests that it might come sooner than expected, a choice no doubt tied to his health revelations.<\/p>\n
