Bruce Willis’ wife, Emma Heming Willis, recently took to Instagram to ask paparazzi and videographers to keep their distance and not to yell at the actor when he’s out and about. \u201cThis one is going out to the photographers and the video people that are trying to get those exclusives of my husband out and about: Just keep your space,\u201d she said in the clip. \u201cI know this is your job, but maybe just keep your space.\u201d She continued by saying, \u201cFor the video people, please don\u2019t be yelling at my husband asking him how he\u2019s doing or whatever \u2014 the \u2018woohoo\u2019-ing and the \u2018yippee ki-yays\u2019\u2026 just don\u2019t do it. OK? Give him his space. Allow for our family or whoever\u2019s with him that day to be able to get him from point A to point B safely.\u201d Willis captioned the video writing, \u00a0\u201cTo other caregivers or dementia care specialist navigating this world\u2026 Any tips or advice on how to get your loved ones out in the world safely? Please share below.\u201d<\/p>\n

The video begins with Willis recounting a recent incident that Bruce had with photographers where he was out and about with friends getting coffee in Santa Monica. The model spoke about the struggles saying how \u201cdifficult and stressful it can be to get someone out into the world and to navigate them safely.\u201d<\/p>\n

This comes just weeks after Willis’ family announced his speaking disorder, aphasia, has progressed into dementia. \u201cToday there are no treatments for the disease, a reality that we hope can change in the years ahead. As Bruce\u2019s condition advances, we hope that any media attention can be focused on shining a light on this disease that needs far more awareness and research,\u201d they said last month in an update shared online.<\/p>\n
