Suzanne Somers recently took to Instagram to share a throwback photo of her and husband, Alan Hamel, to show her love for him and their long-lasting relationship. The Instagram picture is a side-by-side of an old photo of the couple next to a recent photo of them with the caption, “Still smiling 55 years later #TBT.”<\/p>\n

The former “Three’s Company” star has shown her love for her husband many times on Instagram. In 2020, she posted on Instagram a video celebrating her 44th wedding anniversary with Hamal captioning it, “Happy Anniversary Al! My darling, @therealalanhamel – how I love being your wife. Married today 44 years and together 53 years! I don’t want to spend a day without you. What a life! Happy Anniversary! Thank you to @brucesomersjr and @carolinesomers for this beautiful video,” thanking her son Bruce Somers Jr. and his wife for making the video.<\/p>\n

Somers has been very open about her relationship and how she keeps the spark alive even five decades later. “I may be in my 70s now, and I always thought when I got in this decade that it would be over. And I just want people to know it ain’t over if you know how to take care of yourself,” she said in 2021 when appearing on the “Daily Blast Live.” She continued by saying, “Aging is about worn out parts, so your hormones start declining, your nutrients start declining, your minerals start declining. So, what I write about in my books is how to put it all back together again.\u00a0Our kids are raised, we paid for the weddings, we paid for the education and it’s now just me and Al. And, God, we are having a great time.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
