Most importantly, I met\u00a0Gwen Stefani\u00a0as a coach on the show, and now she\u2019s my wife.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Shelton will be taking his oversized red judging chair for one last spin in season 23, but this was his final time coaching with his wife on \u201cThe Voice.\u201d\u00a0\u201cIt was crazy. I didn\u2019t even think about it until the cameras shut off, then I realized, \u2018Oh, my gosh.\u2019 I looked over, and she was crying,\u201d Shelton shared of Stefani\u2019s reaction.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe was like, \u2018That\u2019s it, we\u2019re never going to do this again, you know?\u2019\u2026 it was bittersweet.\u201d In 2014, Shelton and Stefani met during the first season of \u201cThe Voice\u201d At the time, they were with their previous partners, Miranda Lambert and Gavin Rossdale. During the summer of 2015, the pair split from their respective marriages and then started a romantic relationship in November of that year.<\/p>\n<p>Shelton continued to get candid about his relationship with the former No Doubt vocalist and pointed out that he was leaving \u201cThe Voice\u201d with the best gift. \u201cI won the ultimate prize on \u2018The Voice.\u2019 I don\u2019t think anybody had a bigger win than I did,\u201d he said. The \u201cHollaback Girl\u201d songstress expressed mutual sentiments towards her husband on their milestone together as she took to her social media to voice her journey on the show.<\/p>\n<p>Stefani shared on Twitter, \u201caaand that\u2019s a wrap!!! forever thankful to @NBCTheVoice; this show has changed my life in more ways than I can count.\u201d \u201cI\u2019m the luckiest girl in the world. It\u2019ll be interesting to see if the dynamic of the relationship between Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani changes now that they won\u2019t be working together anymore.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019ll also be interesting to see if Stefani feels she has to leave now that Shelton isn\u2019t there.
