Sadie Robertson Huff and her husband, Christian Huff, announced baby number 2 on their Instagram<\/a> pages last week. Along with the caption, \u201canother little miracle is in motion\u201d the couple shared an image of themselves and their one-year-old daughter, Honey, and a sonogram picture of their new baby. Robertson Huff\u2019s mother, Korie Robertson, also shared<\/a> the news, writing, \u201cI have the VERY BEST NEWS to share!! Honey\u2019s going to be a big sister!!\u201d Robertson Huff is the daughter of Duck Commander CEO Willie Robertson, whose family came to fame with the popular \u201cDuck Dynasty\u201d show. The family is known for their Christian values and Sadie Robertson Huff has been busy preaching<\/a> to others about finding themselves in Christ.<\/p>\n

Robertson Huff, 25, and her husband met in 2018 while she was in Florida crab hunting. \u201cMy sister actually had known Christian for the year before we met and they were all friends. He has a younger brother and they were friends. So I knew about Christian, but I just knew him as my sister\u2019s friend who I\u2019d never met, so I didn\u2019t think much into it,\u201d she told People<\/em><\/a> after the couple tied the knot November 2019. After meeting Christian on the crab hunting expedition, he teased her about following everyone in his family except him on social media. After she followed him, she received a direct message he\u2019d sent her two years prior. \u201cI don\u2019t get messages on my Instagram unless I follow that person, and when I followed him a message popped up that he had tried to send me two years ago that I never saw. It was the sweetest message ever\u2026<\/p>\n

We have been talking since that DM. I guess you can say it started in the DMs but more so started crab hunting on the beach,\u201d she recalled.<\/p>\n

Nearly one year after the wedding, the couple announced they were expecting their first child. Speaking on her podcast, \u201cWHOA That\u2019s Good<\/a>,\u201d she stated that the pregnancy was a surprise. \u201cI guess we shouldn\u2019t have been that surprised, but we were super surprised and so I didn\u2019t think I was pregnant at all. We had actually just been at my best friend Laney\u2019s gender-reveal party and everybody was like, \u2018You\u2019re next, you\u2019re next!’ And I was like, \u2018I don\u2019t really know if it\u2019s our timing right now,\u201d she said. Very shortly after, the couple confirmed the pregnancy. Robertson Huff had previously spoken candidly<\/a> about being pregnant during the COVID-19 pandemic and battling the sickness while she was pregnant. \u201cThe hardest thing was I did get COVID while I was pregnant and I was so sick from that, and so sick still in the morning sickness, so that was a challenge. Seriously, my heart goes out to every single pregnant person with COVID and everybody with COVID. They were telling me at the hospital, they were like, \u2018Man, people have to deliver with it.\u2019 I can\u2019t even imagine,\u201d she told People<\/em>.<\/p>\n

There had been early speculations<\/a> about Robertson Huff\u2019s pregnancy when she dressed up as Lori Greiner from \u201cShark Tank\u201d for Halloween. She had a \u201cSquatty Potty\u201d over her tummy, which caused social media users to speculate she was hiding a baby bump. She hasn\u2019t released an exact due date but did reveal on her Instagram stories \u201cAnother little May baby on the way.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
