Sylvester Stallone reflected on a \u201creawakening\u201d he had that led him to\u00a0call off a divorce<\/a>\u00a0with his wife, former model Jennifer Flavin, earlier this fall.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet\u2019s just say that it was a very tumultuous time,\u201d the \u201cRocky\u201d actor recently told The Sunday Times<\/em><\/a>. \u201cThere was a reawakening of what was more valuable than anything, which is my love for my family.\u201d \u201cIt takes precedence over my work, and that was a hard lesson to learn,\u201d Stallone added.<\/p>\n

The 76-year-old movie star confessed that he \u201cdidn\u2019t pay enough attention\u201d to his children when they were growing up. Stallone has three young adult daughters with Flavin and a 43-year-old son with his ex-wife, Sasha Czack. Stallone\u2019s eldest child, also with Czack, died in 2012.<\/p>\n

Stallone said, \u201cI was so career-oriented, and now I go, \u2018OK, I don\u2019t have that much runway up ahead, and I want to start asking them about their lives.\u201d Flavin filed for divorce on August 19 after spending nearly three decades with the \u201cRambo\u201d actor. In court documents, she\u00a0accused him of squandering cash.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cThe husband has engaged in the intentional dissipation, depletion, and\/or waste of marital assets, which has had an adverse economic impact on the marital estate,\u201d the divorce petition argued.<\/p>\n
