I wanted to share that Cory and I have decided to go our separate ways,&#8221; she wrote. &#8220;These decisions are never easy, and not without sadness. We will maintain a friendship as we co-parent our beautiful children.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;Sister, Sister&#8221; star has been married to Hardrict since 2008 where she has said that his Christian faith was a major factor that connected the two of them when they first met. \u201cCory is a man of faith and a man of God,\u201d the actress shared on her social media series,\u00a0Tia Mowry\u2019s Quick Fix\u00a0in 2017. \u201cHe\u2019ll put something on the board and he\u2019ll say, \u2018Tia, I know that that\u2019s going to come to pass.\u2019 And I\u2019m like, this dude is crazy,\u201d Mowry joked. \u201cThen it comes to pass and not only that \u2014 he taught me how to believe in myself more than I believe in myself. He is like my biggest supporter and biggest fan.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hardrict has also gushed in past interviews about their strong connection from day one when he moved to California and was a struggling actor at the time. \u201cI knew once I could get in a financially better situation, I\u2019m going to buy her a ring and that\u2019s going to be my wife. And here we are, so that\u2019s when I knew she was the one for me because it was real love. It\u2019s not perfect, now \u2026 but that\u2019s love.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mowry and Hardrict share two children together, 11-year-old Cree and 4-year-old Cairo, where Mowry has requested joint physical and legal custody of the children. The pair had a prenuptial agreement prior to their marriage in 2008.
