Gabby Barrett wasn’t standing on a stage when she shared a moment that struck a chord with moms. She was standing in her kitchen, looking at rice scattered across the table and floor and admitting she was exhausted.<\/p>\n

The country star shared the candid video Tuesday as she opened up about the pressure of trying to balance motherhood, marriage, family, friendships and a demanding music career.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am at a point right now in life where I’m just exhausted from trying to be a good wife, a good mother, a good daughter, a good sister, a good artist, a good friend, a good CEO of a business, a good \u2026 all the things,\u201d Barrett said.<\/p>\n

Then she showed fans what life looked like at that particular moment.<\/p>\n

\u201cI’m just standing here looking at a table with rice all over it \u2013 and that is all over the floor as well \u2013 that I am getting ready to clean,\u201d she said, turning her phone toward the mess.<\/p>\n

Barrett explained that she had already had a writing session that day and was parenting solo while her husband was away on a work trip. She’s also working on a new album while raising three young children.<\/p>\n

\u201cHaving three little kids is quite the task,\u201d she admitted.<\/p>\n

Then Barrett summed up the season of life she’s in with six words: \u201cI’m tired, but I’m grateful.\u201d<\/p>\n

Almost on cue, one of her children could be heard calling \u201cMommy!\u201d from another room as Barrett began another sentence.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd that’s my cue,\u201d she said with a smile. \u201cBut new music is coming, and real life is happening.\u201d<\/p>\n
