Olympic gold medalist Tara Lipinski is opening up about another heartbreaking chapter in her long fertility journey, revealing that she and her husband, Todd Kapostasy, recently lost their baby during the second trimester of a surrogate pregnancy.<\/p>\n

In an emotional Instagram post shared on May 1, the former figure skating champion admitted she struggled with whether to speak publicly about the loss.<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t think I was ready to share this yet,\u201d Lipinski wrote. \u201cA few months ago, we lost our baby in the second trimester.\u201d<\/p>\n
