I was an editor with an idea, in search of a business partner for this unorthodox notion of starting a print magazine about religion. He was crazy enough to think the notion had some merit.  We eventually turned it into a plan for a website and launched in December 1999.<br \/>\nI was extraordinarily blessed to have met Bob, a wise, skillful, brave (a decorated Vietnam Vet) and, most important, funny man.<br \/>\nBeliefnet certainly wouldn&#8217;t exist without Bob.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.beliefnet.com\/Love-Family\/2008\/12\/Bob-Nylen-remembrance.aspx\">Here&#8217;s a tribute I wrote about him<\/a>.
