\nNo, I’m not suggesting that atheists are more likely to murder because Cowart liked The God Delusion. But it is a reminder to Bill Maher that it’s not only religious zealots who are prone to insane violence.
\nIntriguingly, he also lists “The Other Bible”,<\/a> which is described as a “comprehensive volume ancient, esoteric holy texts from Judeo-Christian tradition that were excluded from the official canon of the Old and New Testaments, including the Gnostic Gospels, the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Kabbalah, and several more.” It’s both very spriitual and implicitly conspiratorial, a la Davinci Code.
