This sentiment was echoed, too, by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beliefnet.com\/resourcelib\/docs\/13\/Memorial_and_Remonstrance_against_Religious_Assessments_1.html\">Madison<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beliefnet.com\/resourcelib\/docs\/70\/Diary_of_John_Adams_March_07_1756_1.html\">Adams<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beliefnet.com\/resourcelib\/docs\/120\/The_Virginia_Act_for_Establishing_Religious_Freedom_1.html\">Jefferson<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;
