Did you know that time waits for no\u00a0 one; not for man ,women, or child?\u00a0 The only\u00a0record in history when time\u00a0ever stood still was when God did it sovereignly.\u00a0(Joshua 10:13)\u00a0So to say that\u00a0 time ‘s a wasting is\u00a0or can be a true statement.<\/p>\n

We are all so busy in our society that we can’t afford to waste time.\u00a0 We seem to never have enough hours in a day, even\u00a0without unexpected interruptions.\u00a0 Many things can intrude upon our scheduled activities, but it is how we deal with it that matters.\u00a0 Some interruptions are God ordained and need to be taken seriously.\u00a0 Others may just be an annoyance to us.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Waiting on a train often fits into the annoyance category.\u00a0 This particular track is one where they keep going back and forth adding and subtracting cars to the train.\u00a0 You can be held up here for a long time, or so it seems.\u00a0 It probably is only a few minutes, but it seems much longer; especially if you’re in a hurry.<\/p>\n

If we could only catch hold of the thought that our time is God’s time, perhaps we could relax a bit.\u00a0 Waiting on a train is a good time to pray for a few extra minutes.\u00a0 Or, we could make a quick phone call to a friend.\u00a0 Every inconvenience in our lives can\u00a0 be turned into a blessing, if we try to find the positive side of it.<\/p>\n

So, the next time you meet with a train that seemingly has no end, ask God what He would have you do during this down time.\u00a0 I’m sure He will let you know how to proceed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
