\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I have always found it hard to believe that God knows how many hairs we each have on our heads.\u00a0 I know it is true because God’s word says it to be true.\u00a0 I cannot even imagine knowing this about one person, since that number would be ever changing.\u00a0 But, our God is awesome and does all things well.<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 He knows when one small sparrow falls from the sky.\u00a0 Matthew 10:29-31\u00a0 “Two sparrows cost only a penny,\u00a0 but not even one of them can die without your Father knowing it.\u00a0 God even knows how many hairs are on your head.\u00a0 So, don’t be afraid.\u00a0 You are worth much more than many sparrows.”\u00a0 (The Everyday Bible)<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 When I watch the sparrows and other birds at my feeder and bird bath, I certainly don’t know the condition of each one.\u00a0 I don’t know when one gets hit by a car, or when a hawk swoops down and grabs one.\u00a0 I don’t even notice when my cats eat one for lunch, unless they leave feathers on the sidewalk.\u00a0 Yet, \u00a0God thinks they are worthy of His attention.<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 What an awesome God we serve.\u00a0 He not only is a God of mighty miracles like parting the Red Sea and raising he dead; but He also cares about the little details of life.\u00a0 If He knows when a sparrow dies, surely He must know when your water bill is unpaid.\u00a0 If He knows how many hairs are on your head, surely He must understand the pain in your heart, the confusion in your mind, the weaknesses in your body.<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Our God created the universe.\u00a0 Our God designed the solar system.\u00a0 Our God programed our bodies to function and all the different systems that work together to make us who we are.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 He can be trusted with anything we have.\u00a0 He loves our children more than we do.\u00a0 He understands our complicated relationships with others.\u00a0 He knows what we need, even before we ask.\u00a0 Matthew 6:8\u00a0 “…..for your Father knows what things you have need of before you ask Him.”<\/p>\n
