\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 As children we used to sing this little tune, ”\u00a0Doctor, Doctor can you tell\u00a0what will make poor Jimmy well?\u00a0 He is sick and going to die.\u00a0 Doctor, Doctor tell me why.”\u00a0\u00a0 Back then, most families had one doctor.\u00a0 If they needed a surgeon, their family doctor would\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 recommend one.\u00a0 Our medical issues were much simpler then.<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Now days we have different doctor it seems for each medical problem.\u00a0 Some people have more doctors than they know what to do with.\u00a0 Just to name few; there are cardiologist, obstetricians, dermatologist, oncologists, podiatrists and urologists.\u00a0 There are specific types of surgeons.\u00a0 There are\u00a0general surgeons, neurosurgeons, orthopedic surgeons, maxillofacial surgeons, dental surgeons, plastic surgeons, an so many more.\u00a0 Each with their own degrees, titles and qualifications.<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Jesus is known as the Great Physician.\u00a0 He went about healing all kinds of diseases.( Matthew 4:23)\u00a0 His disciples then and now have a gift of healing.\u00a0 Jesus bought our healing through His death on the cross and by the whipping he bore before He was crucified.\u00a0 When we pray in Jesus’ name we can still be miraculously healed even today.<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Sometimes God heals miraculously and sometimes he uses doctors and modern medicine.\u00a0 He is God and has the right to choose how He wants to heal us.\u00a0 I have been healed many times through a simple prayer of faith and I have also gone to doctors and surgeons and taken lots of medicine.\u00a0 That doesn’t mean that I don’t have enough faith or that there is sin my life.\u00a0 It means that God has another plan.<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I went to one specialist for two years so I could witness to him.\u00a0 I have ended up in the hospital so I could lead my roomate to Jesus.\u00a0 While in the hospital I was inspired to write a children’s book.\u00a0 I have learned not to question God’s methods.\u00a0 I always pray first.\u00a0 I have church leaders and friends join me in prayer and I am annointed with oil like the scripture says in James 5:14-15.\u00a0 Then God chooses what He will do.\u00a0 We must be willing to allow Him to choose and not question His decisions.\u00a0 He always knows best and always has a plan for our lives.<\/p>\n
