God is so wonderful when it comes to pulling things together.\u00a0 Things that we think are just a mumble jumble of experiences, He can use to create a powerful ministry.\u00a0 We often ask children, “What do you want to be when you grow up?”\u00a0 That’s a silly thing to ask.\u00a0 They will chose whatever is popular at the time or their favorite sport, or something like, “I want to be a princess”.<\/p>\n
I know that God can speak to them at an early age and show them some direction for their lives, but they have to live a little to know how to use that information.\u00a0 A 5 year old may want to be a policeman, but he really has no idea what all that will demand of him.\u00a0 As an eighth grader I told my guidance counselor that I wanted to be a free-lance writer.\u00a0 I had no idea what that meant and how to accomplish it.\u00a0 I started teaching Sunday School when I was 18, but I had no understanding of\u00a0how that would drive my life as an adult.<\/p>\n
God has an incredible way of taking something we love and turning it into a powerful ministry.\u00a0 He knows what will spark our interest and just how much pressure to apply to change that lump of coal into a beautiful diamond.\u00a0 When God allows us to stretch and try a new avenue of service, we often think we will not like\u00a0 the change.\u00a0 But , give it a chance.\u00a0 You find that long lost love that you have been looking for.<\/p>\n
When our lump of coal becomes that beautiful diamond, then God can start cutting it into a many faceted jewel.\u00a0 We will see how He will take parts of many different talents and mold them into one effective plan.\u00a0 If we are willing to be whittled away at and shaped into what God desires, we will soon find happiness and fulfillment in our calling.<\/p>\n
