Once you have found your place, allow yourself to fall in love with it.\u00a0 Teaching children is my passion.\u00a0 I love doing it.\u00a0 I have been doing it for almost 45 years.\u00a0 I taught kindergarten at a small Christian school for 9 years.\u00a0 I taught 4 year olds at a Christian day care for another 5 years.\u00a0 I have taught Sunday School for years, always the ages between 4 and 8.\u00a0\u00a0 I just love those little guys, and I think they return that love.<\/p>\n
I come alive when I am in that classroom.\u00a0 The children give me strength.\u00a0 They love me for who I am.\u00a0 They respond to my love.\u00a0Children are so painfully honest and willing to express themselves.\u00a0 One hug or smile from a little one can make my whole day.\u00a0 It can bring me out of dispair.\u00a0 It brightens my day and gives me hope for the future. \u00a0It can lead me to the love of Jesus.<\/p>\n
We invest our time and money in what we love.\u00a0 We love our children and do all we can to minister to their needs and desires.\u00a0 A ministry is the same.\u00a0 If we love what we are doing, we will invest in it.\u00a0 Every time I go to the store I pick up things for our church food pantry.\u00a0 I spend a lot of money on supplies and crafts for my Sunday School class.\u00a0 I do it because it is a top priority in my life.<\/p>\n
I treasure my time spent doing what I know God has designed me to do.\u00a0 God’s word says in Luke 12:24, “For where your treasure is, there will be your heart also.”\u00a0 I treasure the children in my life.\u00a0 I treasure my work at the shelter and food pantry.\u00a0 And, I treasure writing items of encouragement for others.\u00a0 It has taken many years for me to kknow what my purpose and calling is, but now that\u00a0 I have found it, I will never let it go again.<\/p>\n
