\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The month of February is all about love and Valentine’s Day.\u00a0 There are so many kinds of love that sometimes it’s hard to figure out just what kind of love we have for certain individuals.\u00a0 There is the special love between a man and a women.\u00a0 There is parent to child love.\u00a0 Love between friends and love for God’s family.\u00a0 All of these are valid loves we can experience them all at the same time.<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Bible has a lot to say about the qualities of love in I Corinthians 13:4-8, ” Love is patient and kind.\u00a0 Love is not jealous, it does not brag and it is not proud.\u00a0 Love is not rude, is not selfish, and does not get upset with others.\u00a0 Love does not count up wrongs that have been done.\u00a0 Love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth.\u00a0 Love patiently accepts all things.\u00a0 It\u00a0 always trusts, always hopes, and always remains strong.” (The Everyday Bible)<\/p>\n
\u00a0 That is a pretty tall order for anyone to fill, but if God requires it of us, it must be possible to accomplish.\u00a0 I believe that none of has perfected this love thing, except for God Himself.\u00a0 but if we all keep working at it and\u00a0 we will grow better with each new day.<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Valentines Day is a holiday built around the romantic love we feel for our spouses, girl friends\/boy friends, or even our soul mates.\u00a0 We send cards, flowers, candy, and many other things to express our love for that individual.\u00a0 This year I’m giving my husband a red bird feeder.\u00a0 He loves to watch the birds as they fight over the yummy seeds and fruit we put out for them.<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Sometimes our human relationships fail and leave us hurt and broken.\u00a0 God’s love will never fail.\u00a0 We sing a song at church that says, ” God’s love never fails, it never gives up, and it never runs out on me.”\u00a0 How truly wonderful and comforting to know that God’s love NEVER FAILS!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
