\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 A few nights ago we experienced the largest solar flares in over 8 years.\u00a0 These solar storms travel at 4 million MRH.\u00a0 When the geomagnetic particles meet with the Earth’s atmosphere, they create a beautiful sights in the skies.\u00a0 These are what we refer as the Northern Light or Aurora Borealis.\u00a0 They put on a spectacular light show that normally is seen in only the far north regions of the world.\u00a0 This particular event can be seen as far south as Michigan.<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The biggest issue with these solar storms is radiation, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Space Weather Prediction Center in Colorado.\u00a0 The radiation is mostly a concern for satellite interruptions that can adversely affect our astronauts in space.\u00a0 NASA’s flight surgeons and solar experts examined the effects and decided that the 6 astronauts on The International Space Station do not have anything to protect them from this radiation.<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 This radiation, in the form of protons come flying off the sun’s surface.\u00a0 The whole volume of space between here and Jupiter is just filled with protons and there is no way to get rid of them.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Most of the chaos caused by this event has been power outages, satellite disruptions, and communication problems for\u00a0 polar traveling\u00a0 airplanes.\u00a0 Some flights had to be rerouted to avoid this danger.<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 It is comforting to understand that our God created all of the universe, this solar system as well as others.\u00a0 He controls it all.\u00a0 If the Earth gets fried by a huge solar blast or disintegrated by a meteorite it will in His timing and for His purpose.\u00a0 NASA and The\u00a0 National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Space Weather Prediction Center, know their stuff…….but God created all the stuff!<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We can trust Him to know what is best for us individually and as a universe.\u00a0 All these awesome planets are held in place by His power alone.\u00a0 Genesis chapter one tells us how our world and all that is in was created.\u00a0 It plainly states that He created the Earth.\u00a0 I just happen to believe God’s word is true.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
