{"id":32,"date":"2015-04-12T23:03:20","date_gmt":"2015-04-12T23:03:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.beliefnet.com\/columnists\/simplyfabulous\/?p=32"},"modified":"2015-04-12T23:03:20","modified_gmt":"2015-04-12T23:03:20","slug":"living-without-the-yuck-part-ii","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.beliefnet.com\/columnists\/simplyfabulous\/2015\/04\/living-without-the-yuck-part-ii.html","title":{"rendered":"Living Without the Yuck &#8211; Part II"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last time, I shared some of my favorite natural beauty products that are free of &#8220;yucky&#8221; chemicals. \u00a0Now I will share some of my favorite &#8220;yuck-free&#8221; household products. \u00a0Yes, unfortunately, many of the laundry detergents, dish detergents, cleaning products and even candles in the stores today are full of ingredients \u00a0that can lead to hormonal issues, reproductive issues, asthma, even cancer. \u00a0In fact, the average household today has 62 toxic chemicals in it. \u00a0I don&#8217;t know about you, but that&#8217;s 62 too many for me. \u00a0Read the labels and educate yourself&#8230; the information is out there!<\/p>\n<p>And now on to my favs&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.drbronner.com\/\">Dr. Bronner&#8217;s Magic Castile Liquid Soap<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.beliefnet.com\/columnists\/simplyfabulous\/files\/2015\/04\/castille.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-33\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/386\/2015\/04\/castille-268x300.jpg\" alt=\"castille\" width=\"268\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>These castile liquid soaps from Dr. Bronner&#8217;s truly are magic. \u00a0They have an endless amount of uses &#8211; body wash, shampoo, dishwashing, laundry, mopping floors, rinsing vegetables, pest control or even washing your dog. \u00a0And they&#8217;re only made from a few simple ingredients including coconut oil, palm oil, olive oil, hemp oil and jojoba oil.<br \/>\n<strong>2. \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jrwatkins.com\/products\/ec5e407e-0fda-4a4a-baaf-912f04ca781c\/\/\">J.R. Watkins products, it doesn&#8217;t contain any ammonia, bleach, dyes, formaldehyde, glycols, parabens, phosphates, phthalates or synthetic polymers.<br \/>\n<strong>3. \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jrwatkins.com\/products\/ae8ddaae-654d-4ab6-9a07-b796a73833cd\/\/\">J.R.
