As I look upon my life with dread,<\/p>\n

I think of the world that waits ahead–<\/p>\n

The splendor of the streets of gold,\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The wisdom of the prophts of old<\/p>\n

I think of Jesus on His throne<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 And how he bore the cross alone.<\/p>\n

I hear Him pleading, “Come to me,<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 For rest and life eternally.”<\/p>\n

I see the angels in garments white<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Proclaim God’s Son’s redeeming right<\/p>\n

To cleanse the mortals here on earth<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 And make them sinless as at birth.<\/p>\n

All these things I see and hear<\/p>\n
