Central Theme:\u00a0 A good reason to pray is because God answers prayer.<\/p>\n

Introduction–Bring a watch that does not work.\u00a0 Throw it away.\u00a0 Bring a straw with a hole in it.\u00a0 Throw it away.\u00a0 I don\u2018t use things that don\u2018t work.\u00a0 I am so glad that prayer always works for people who believe in Jesus.<\/p>\n

I.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Tell the story of Solomon and how he built the temple.<\/p>\n

A. The Solomon prayed and asked for God\u2018s help.<\/p>\n

B.\u00a0 God answered Solomon\u2018s prayer.<\/p>\n

II.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 One big reason why I pray is because prayer works.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

A. Prayer brings me help.<\/p>\n

1. \u00a0I prayed for many years that God would send our son a Perry. \u00a0He was a man who had mentoring many young men in the ways of the Lord. \u00a0God sent the Perry to our son. \u00a0They became great friends and God used Perry.<\/p>\n

III.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Things I have learned about praying<\/p>\n

A. You cannot pray too much.<\/p>\n

B.\u00a0 You can\u2019t pray wrong.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

C. You can\u2019t ever learn everything there is to know about prayer.<\/p>\n

D. Every person is different in the way they pray.<\/p>\n
