{"id":2564,"date":"2012-04-18T13:18:26","date_gmt":"2012-04-18T17:18:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.beliefnet.com\/simplelife\/?p=2564"},"modified":"2012-04-18T13:18:26","modified_gmt":"2012-04-18T17:18:26","slug":"a-savior-for-all-people","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.beliefnet.com\/columnists\/simplelife\/2012\/04\/a-savior-for-all-people.html","title":{"rendered":"A Savior for all people"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"center\">A Savior for All People<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/234\/2012\/04\/jesus-walks.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2566\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/234\/2012\/04\/jesus-walks.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"183\" height=\"275\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">No matter who you are the Lord Jesus is God.\u00a0 He understands and relates to you.<\/p>\n<p><strong>There were<\/strong> 3 good arguments that Jesus was Black:<\/p>\n<p>1. \u00a0 He called everyone brother,<\/p>\n<p>2. \u00a0 He liked the Gospel,<\/p>\n<p>3. \u00a0 He didn&#8217;t get a fair trial.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.beliefnet.com\/simplelife\/files\/2012\/04\/child-with-father.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-2567\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/234\/2012\/04\/child-with-father-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>But then<\/strong> there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was Jewish:<\/p>\n<p>1. \u00a0 He went into His Father&#8217;s business,<\/p>\n<p>2. \u00a0 He lived at home until he was 33,<\/p>\n<p>3. \u00a0 He was sure his mother was a virgin and his mother was sure He was God.<\/p>\n<p><strong>But then<\/strong> there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was Italian:<\/p>\n<p>1. \u00a0 He talked with His hands,<\/p>\n<p>2. \u00a0 He had wine with His meals,<\/p>\n<p>3. \u00a0 He used olive oil.<\/p>\n<p><strong>But then<\/strong> there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was a Californian:<\/p>\n<p>1. \u00a0 He never cut His hair,<\/p>\n<p>2. \u00a0 He walked around barefoot all the time,<\/p>\n<p>3. \u00a0 He started a new religion.<\/p>\n<p><strong>But then<\/strong> there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was an American Indian:<\/p>\n<p>1. \u00a0 He was at peace with nature,<\/p>\n<p>2. \u00a0 He ate a lot of fish,<\/p>\n<p>3. \u00a0 He talked about the Great Spirit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>But then<\/strong> there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was Irish:<\/p>\n<p>1. \u00a0 He never got married,<\/p>\n<p>2. \u00a0 He was always telling stories,<\/p>\n<p>3. \u00a0 He loved green pastures.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.beliefnet.com\/simplelife\/files\/2012\/04\/woman-cooking.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-2568\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/234\/2012\/04\/woman-cooking-199x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"199\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>But the most<\/strong> compelling evidence of all &#8211; 3 proofs that Jesus was a woman:<\/p>\n<p>1. \u00a0 He fed a crowd at a moment&#8217;s notice when there was virtually no food,<\/p>\n<p>2. \u00a0 He kept trying to get a message across to a bunch of men who just didn&#8217;t get it,<\/p>\n<p>3. \u00a0 And even when He was dead, He had to get up because there was still work to do.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Can I get an AMEN?<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Savior for All People No matter who you are the Lord Jesus is God.\u00a0 He understands and relates to you.
