Many of you are aware that the Children\u2019s Pastor\u2019s Conference is in Orlando, FL next week. With that, we have a few folks who will be presenting on Special Needs Ministries and the need for inclusion on January 14 at Northland Church in Longwood, FL.<\/div>\n

One of the folks who will be in town is\u00a0Nella Uitvlugt, Executive Director of Friendship Ministries in Grand Rapids Mi.\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0Nella and her crew have over the years developed some great materials for teens and adults who have intellectual disabilities as well as a model for doing what is called Friendship Club. Friendship Ministries is a not-for-profit organization that exists to help churches and organizations around the world share God\u2019s love with people who have intellectual disabilities. Nella has made time in her schedule to meet with us to talk about the aspects of ministering to this group of people who want and need a Savior just like the rest of us!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

We will meet at\u00a0Northland Church, 530 Dog Track RD, Longwood, FL. At 9 AM on Saturday, January, 14!<\/strong>\u00a0We will be in the main Worship Center, someone will be downstairs to greet you and guide you to the room which most likely will be 4210. Please pass this on to other churches and other agencies who may be interested in attending. If you plan to attend, please RSVP to\u00a0lauralee.wright@northlandchurch.net.<\/a><\/div>\n
