He has published over a hundred articles, reviews, and essays, both technical and popular, and written four books<i>:<\/i> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.karlgiberson.com\/Site\/Worlds_Apart.html\"><i>Worlds Apart: The Unholy War Between Science and Religion<\/i><\/a> (1993), <a href=\"http:\/\/www.karlgiberson.com\/Site\/Species_of_Origins.html\"><i>Species of Origins: America's Search for a Creation Story<\/i><\/a> (2002, with Don Yerxa<i>),<\/i> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.karlgiberson.com\/Site\/Oracles_of_Science.html\"><i>Oracles of Science: Celebrity Scientists Versus God and Religion<\/i><\/a> (2007, with Mariano Artigas), and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.karlgiberson.com\/Site\/Saving_Darwin.html\"><i>Saving Darwin: How to Be a Christian and Believe in Evolution<\/i><\/a> (2008). His 5th book, <i>The Anointed: America\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Evangelical Experts<\/i> (with historian Randall Stephens) is under contract with Harvard University Press.<\/p>\r\n<p>Dr. Giberson has written for <i>Salon.com, Edge.org, Discover, Perspectives on Science &amp; Faith, Books &amp; Culture, Christianity Today, Journal of Christian History, Zygon<\/i>, and others. He has given invited lectures on science and religion at many venues, including Oxford University, the Etore Majorana Center in Sicily, as well as colleges and universities in the United States. His primary research focus is the history and sociology of the creation-evolution controversy and in 2006 he lectured at the Vatican on \"America's Ongoing Hostility to Darwinism.\" <i>Saving Darwin<\/i> was recognized by the Washington Post as a \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Best of 2008\u00e2\u20ac\u009d book.<\/p>\r\n<p>Dr. Giberson has been on the faculty of Eastern Nazarene College since 1984, where he teaches interdisciplinary honors seminars and the history of science.
