Without a doubt the most popular (in terms of attracting attention, not all of it admiring, to be sure) was <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.beliefnet.com\/crunchycon\/2006\/10\/orthodoxy-and-me.html\">the October 12, 2006, entry in which I revealed and explained why I&#8217;d left the Roman Catholic Church for Eastern Orthodoxy<\/a>. At 5,000 words or so, it was probably the longest post I&#8217;ve ever written, and certainly the one that drew the most commentary. I wish I had been less melodramatic, but I wrote it in a single sitting, in an emotional outpouring.
