When I posted a few weeks ago this link to a Newsweek piece in praise of Rielle Hunter’s silence<\/a>, I speculated timidly but hopefully (along with the author) that her silence in the sordid John Edwards matter perhaps indicated that she had matured. Well — surprise, surprise! — I was wrong. The predatory, gold-digging stalker of the vain and no-count Silky Pony has finally broken her silence in a GQ interview. <\/a>Excerpt:<\/p>\n

But the irony of what you’re saying–right now, most people think he’s the most untruthful person in America. <\/strong>
\nYou know, it’s so fascinating to me how people perceive things. Everyone talks about how Johnny has fallen from grace. In reality, he’s fallen to grace. He is integrated. He is living a life of truth. He has grown in awareness and humility. He had all these things within him, but they weren’t the guiding, leading principles of his life. Now they are.
