Just in <\/a>– “Singer Amy Winehouse has been found dead at her home in Camden, north London, at the age of 27, police have confirmed.<\/p>\n

Officers were called by the ambulance service to an address in NW1 just after 4pm today.<\/p>\n

“On arrival, officers found the body of a 27-year-old female who was pronounced dead at the scene,” a police statement said.”<\/p>\n

It may not be that shocking, but still, like so many other young artists that seem to be on this path – when the moment finally comes – it actually is sort of shocking in the sheer finality of it all.<\/p>\n

Also kind of weird is that she left at the age of 27 – joining Brian Jones, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain, and a host of other rock stars<\/a> – very strange.<\/p>\n
