I am so tired of the liberal media undermining our efforts in the war on terror. Most notably in the death of Zarqawi. It has all but disappeared from the MSM headlines. If and when it does appear it is in the negative form.
\nNotice if you will this article<\/a> from CNN. It has 21<\/strong> paragraphs in it (I counted them) and only 2 <\/strong>describe Zarqawi’s death<\/p>\n

Al-Zarqawi, the Jordanian-born leader of al Qaeda in Iraq, was killed by a U.S. airstrike on a house north of Baghdad on Wednesday.
\nThough his followers are believed to make up only a small proportion of the insurgency, he is blamed for hundreds of bombing deaths and for exacerbating sectarian violence between Sunni and Shiite Muslims<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

They just hate the fact that this was great news and very important to our military campaign over there so they make sure that they shroud this information with 7 other <\/strong>paragraphs that bash Bush, update us on more deaths and detail for us the “allegations” of the Marines killing unarmed Iraqi’s in Haditha.
\nEven when news is good, it doesn’t get reported as good.
\nTo help me balance the bad with good I read this article<\/a> by David Limbaugh. He said that<\/p>\n

Zarqawi, Al Qaeda’s lead commander in Iraq, was arguably more important to the terrorist movement these days than Osama, since the terrorists’ primary focus has been on Iraq, pouring the lion’s share of their energies and resources into preventing the Iraqi people from succeeding in their quest for liberty and constitutional self-rule.
\n[But the] perennial critics aren’t the least bit sincere. Before Saddam was captured they complained of our failure to bring him to justice. When he was captured, they downplayed the event<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Same thing is going on now. I just don’t understand the negativity. Limbaugh goes on to ask some similar questions of the liberal MSM.<\/p>\n

If Zarqawi’s death doesn’t impress you guys, how about the “treasure trove” of information about terror operations in Iraq that we acquired in 17 raids in and near Baghdad following the attack on Zarqawi? Is that symbolic?
\nHow about the information that led to the attack, which U.S. Army Major Gen. William B. Caldwell IV said was acquired from within Zarqawi’s network. Is that symbolic? Of course not, but the not-so-mainstream reporters found another angle from which to attack it. At today’s White House press briefing, one reporter suggested that since Zarqawi was fingered by another terrorist, perhaps he wanted “to see Zarqawi dead so that [he] could move into the created vacuum.” And they call us reality-challenged!\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Isn’t it sad that we have to look for the “needle” of good news in the “haystack” of bad news?
