In a single day (doubling his goal of $500,000<\/a>)! Pretty good for a candidate from a very blue state and the home of the Kennedys.
\nSince Brown’s surge in the polls the Dems are starting to get a little nervous and have sent in help from the DNC. This is what they had to offer<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Seeking to alienate independents and moderate Republicans backing Brown, Sevugan added, “Will Sarah Palin join Tim Pawlenty, Mitt Romney and other national Republicans in their support for Scott Brown? Or, has the pit bull lost her bark?”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

That’s it? They are going to make this election about Sarah Palin? Brown was able to turn the taunt around on the DNC guy by slamming him as an outsider:<\/p>\n

“This race will not be decided by outsiders,” said Brown spokesman Felix Browne. “Scott has been running this campaign on his own, and with the support of the grassroots, he’ll continue to stand on his own two feet.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Even though Brown’s chances seem to be improving, I would be absolutely shocked if the Dems in Massachusetts allowed Kennedys seat<\/a> to fall into the hands of Republican even for a short time. Wouldn’t that energize the base to get out there are make sure it didn’t happen? Massachusetts, like NJ, will occasionally vote for a Republican for governor but not for Senate, so I’m not holding out much hope that he’ll win. But if he does it will definitely impact the health care bill (because we all know this race has become a referendum on the bill<\/a>) even if the Dems succeed in stalling Brown’s swearing-in since it will be such an upset that it will have to finally break through the echo chamber that America is not happy with the health care bill. Even if he comes close it should wake up the Dems.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
