Well, that let’s me off the hook since I have brown eyes but my poor kids are not! I bet they didn’t realize they caused the global economic crisis, they will be quite sad when they realize that the “black and indigenous people” will have to pay for their mistakes<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Brazil’s President Luiz In\u00e1cio Lula da Silva on Thursday blamed the global economic crisis on “white people with blue eyes” and said it was wrong that black and indigenous people should pay for white people’s mistakes.
\nSpeaking in Bras\u00edlia at a joint press conference with Gordon Brown, the UK prime minister, Mr Lula da Silva told reporters: “This crisis was caused by the irrational behaviour of white people with blue eyes, who before the crisis appeared to know everything and now demonstrate that they know nothing.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Actually, he’s wrong, there were a few white people with brown eyes<\/a> who were involved in this economic crisis (and this one as well<\/a>). Though, I guess he has a point when you consider this white person with blue eyes<\/a> (and this one as well<\/a>).
