Unfortunately, Obama doesn’t seem to have learned from recent history that a windfall profits tax leads to less domestic oil, an increase in our dependence on foreign oil and declining tax revenues<\/a>.<\/embed>BTW, the Michigan Republicans plan to go to Obama’s Lansing event and hand out tire gauges engraved with “Obama’s Energy Plan.”<\/a> Update: BTW, technically no one actually takes money from oil companies because there’s a law on the books that corporations can’t donate money to campaigns<\/a>.
