Sorry, I’m not buying it<\/a>:<\/p>\n

But scratch the surface, and you’ll find a lot of mixed feelings behind the Obama “love.” Reporters are grumbling more and more that the campaign is acting like the Prom Queen. They gripe that it is “arrogant” and “control[ling],” and the campaign’s own belief that Obama is poised to make history isn’t endearing, either. The press certainly helped Obama get so far so fast; the question is, how far can he get if his campaign alienates them?

\n“They’re more disciplined than the Bush people,” a reporter on the Obama trail gripes. “There was this idea of being transparent, but they’re not. They’re total tightwads with information.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

If they were starting to lose that loving feeling, someone in the MSM might start digging up dirt and we haven’t seen any yet:<\/p>\n

“They’re terrified of people poking around Obama’s life,” one reporter says. “The whole Obama narrative is built around this narrative that Obama and David Axelrod built, and, like all stories, it’s not entirely true. So they have to be protective of the crown jewels.” Another reporter notes that, during the last year, Obama’s old friends and Harvard classmates were requested not to talk to the press without permission.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The fawning over his trip<\/a> should prove that the MSM is still in love with at least the idea of Obama.
\nAnd for those of you who are still delusional and call this whining and can’t see the obvious sitting right before your eyes, how about this<\/a>? If you think journalists who contribute to Democrats at a 100 to 1 ratio will remain fair and objective in their reporting, you’re dreaming. Objectivity is impossible because we can never understand why the other side thinks what they do, we are hampered by our presuppositions and worldview. They will always favor the argument that is closest to their reality.
\nAnd those of you who point to the glowing coverage of McCain as proof that the MSM favor Republicans just prove my point. He’s loved by the press because he’s liberal, he’s like them, critical of conservatives. Here’s the real test, how does the press treat a real conservative like Rick Sanatorium?
