U.S. District Judge Oliver Wanger denied the groups’ request to release more water from a federal reservoir to help young endangered winter-run Chinook salmon reach the ocean. \nBTW, I’m all for them coming up with a solution in which the salmon and the farmers (and the rest of the population who rely on the water) can peacefully coexist. But I’m always going to side with humans in a battle for survival. I’ll admit it, I’m biased. And besides I’m partial to California almonds and walnuts.
