When I was harassed into proving that my Reformed theology is the source for my worldview and not the Republican party, I provided you guys with a nice little primer that explains Reformed theology<\/a> so that I can then provide you with an explanation based on that theology. It took me awhile to write it because I had to be precise, I’m dealing with the word of God and it can’t be treated lightly. Also my Reformed brethren would probably take me to task if I blew it.
\nI also knew that because Reformed theology is complicated and I’m not well-liked by the commenters (hated, maybe?), that it would be used as a weapon against me as it has been in the past. I hesitated to provide more information into my positions because I didn’t want to take the time and effort to write something that I knew would be treated lightly and not given much thought. I even mentioned this to the commenter who kept nagging me on every post to provide proof of my Reformed view. But he kept insisting and since I’m susceptible to nagging (just ask my kids), I caved.
\nSo, I wasn’t surprised at all by this comment:<\/p>\n

Michelle, your explanation of Reformed theology was enlightening to say the least. Now I know why you have such contempt for those who disagree with you; obviously, they are all going to hell.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Nothing in the post should have lead anyone to believe that I think those who disagree with me are going to hell. Why would I think anything so silly? It’s obvious that it’s just one more way for this commenter to use my beliefs as a weapon against me, just as I said would happen (yes, this is your typical I told you so post).
\nBut I’m not going to let this misrepresentation and vitriol stop me from providing what I said I would provide. I will continue to do so but will note these types of responses because I really do like being proved right and noting it repeatedly (just ask my kids \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
