A little poetic justice allegedly (though they are denying it<\/a>) meted out by Israel who may have taken out Imad Mughniyeh who was involved in the following<\/a>:<\/p>\n

* The 1983 suicide bombings in Beirut that killed over 300 US marines and French troops.
\n* The 1985 hijacking of a TWA airliner in which a U.S. Navy diver was killed.
\n* A wave of Western hostage-taking in Lebanon in the 1980s.
\n* The 1992 bombing of Israel\u2019s embassy in Argentina in which 29 people were murdered.
\n* The 1994 bombing of the Buenos Aires Jewish center in which 95 people died, including Holocaust survivors. (In reporting Mughniyeh\u2019s death this morning, the BBC refused to call the Buenos Aires bombing of elderly Jews \u201cterrorism\u201d and merely referring to it as \u201can act of violence.\u201d)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

He was hiding in Syria and had undergone a number of plastic surgeries. It seems that it didn’t help.<\/p>\n
