jeez, o’brien, don’t you know that military generals are above criticism? i thought everyone knew that. well, that is of course unless you happen to be a conservative. THEN it’s okay to criticize them, or rip on people who have served their country. yet another reason why you should be a conservative (they get a free pass on hypocrisy).
\ni disagree with the right’s interpretation of the ad and their overreaction to it. in the end, it doesn’t matter, because they cannot argue about the content & context of the ad, only the headline.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Um, the ad was condemned by the House by a pretty large majority<\/a>:<\/p>\n

The House on Wednesday overwhelmingly voted to condemn the liberal advocacy group MoveOn.org for a recent advertisement attacking the top U.S. general in Iraq.
\nBy a 341-79 vote, the House passed a resolution praising the patriotism Gen. David Petraeus, the commander of U.S. forces in Iraq, and condemning a MoveOn.org ad that referred to Petraeus as “General Betray Us.”
